Hello, I'm Cindy. I love fashion, the Lakers, hip-hop, John Mayer, and fashion. My family = everything.

Last night I was awoken by the intense howling of the wind beating my house. I literally imagined my car being swept away with the wind. It was that bad. Needless to say, it took awhile to fall back asleep just because it was so loud & alarming.
I was watching the news this morning and the winds were from 65 mph to 100 mphs. That’s hurricane winds. So insane! I was hoping that CSUSB would be closed since it is up near the mountains and it’s usually more worse there, but of course it wasn’t. So, I braved the winds to marketing class, braved it back to my house. You know it’s windy when you can feel your car being pushed into the other lane by the wind. I was gripping that steering wheel like crazy.
Anyway, the wind reminded me of when I was young, maybe about 5-7. I used to wake up when my grandma did & I remembered when it was windy, our front door would shake like it was going to burst open. I was so afraid that our house would blow away like in The Wizard of Oz. My grandma reassured me it wouldn’t but I was still scared. It’s times like these that I really do miss her, the old her. I’m still grateful that she’s still here though, even if she is a shadow of herself. <3

Today is one of those days where I have a 6 hour gap between my classes. I decided to go home. I did some retail therapy (strange how that makes you feel so much better) and I’m going to take a short nap then read for my tax class at 6.
I can’t wait for the weekend to start. Also, The Office is on tonight and I’m a new fan of that show. Excited!
