I’m watching this special on 9/11 on the History channel. 10 years ago, in the 7th grade, I couldn’t imagine the pain and fear that the victims and their families were going through. At the age of 22, I still can’t comprehend it now. My prayers go out to those still affected by the horrific event and I can only hope they find peace today. Also, much respect goes to the brave and heroic first responders. Can you imagine going into a situation knowing you might not make it alive? I salute.
On this day, take a moment of silence for those lost and appreciate your loved ones. Life is certainly uncertain.
